Nick is a Senior Adviser to Capital SCF, and a Director and co-founder of Capital Markets Strategy Ltd, of which Capital SCF is an FSA appointed representative.

Nick has been involved in corporate finance and UK corporate broking for over 25 years. A lawyer by profession, Nick’s focus is to provide senior counsel and corporate finance advice.

Nick started his investment banking career in London and has worked in the USA and Western Europe, advising companies across a wide variety of sectors. He has particular experience of new issues and mergers & acquisitions transactions, for UK and non-UK companies alike. He has extensive contacts in the advisory, investment and private equity communities.

Until 2003 Nick was head of corporate finance at Arbuthnot Securities, and previously he held senior investment banking positions at Robert W Baird and Credit Lyonnais Securities. Nick was for 10 years a member of the FSA’s Listing Authority Advisory Committee. He is a non-executive director of two UK quoted companies.

Nick graduated in law at London University, and speaks French and some German and Italian.
