Denise joined Capital SCF in 2009. She is a Senior Adviser with a focus on Life Sciences, encompassing the Healthcare, Medical and Biotechnology sectors. Denise has particular expertise in diagnostics, medical IT, devices and services, and in commercialisation strategies including technology and patent licensing.

Prior to joining Capital SCF, Denise was a partner at Terra Nova Capital where she executed on healthcare transactions in the US and India.  Prior to that, Denise was the healthcare portfolio manager at Acumen Fund. 

Denise’s managerial experience includes acting as the CEO of VRex, an advanced imaging hardware and software company headquartered in Malaysia.  Denise previously managed external investments and OTC brands in the Complimentary Medicines division of Pfizer.  She has also worked with Merck-Medco in marketing and managing formularies. 

Denise co-founded Cura Fund (www.curafund.org), a non-profit focused on solving global problems such as health and energy utilising sound business solutions. 

Denise has a BA from Brown University in Business Economics, an MS in Biological Sciences and Nutrition and an MBA from Columbia University.
